I’m Mia, founder of Sunbeam Yoga and Homeopathy based in beautiful South Dorset

I’m a final year licentiate student of homeopathy at College of Practical Homeopathy in London. I’ve trained in Ashtanga, Yoga for Dyslexia and Trauma Informed Yoga and I help people enrich their lives and bring calm to their minds through yoga and homeopathy.

About Mia and Sunbeam Yoga and Homeopathy

Yoga teacher in Dorset

I’m a registered 500hr Ashtanga yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance UK. Having trained with Brian Cooper PHD . I’ve also completed a 40hr course on Trauma Informed Yoga as well as Yoga for Dyslexia.

In 2013 I established Sunbeam Yoga. I teach a guided half primary series Ashtanga yoga class. And I facilitate a weekly Restorative Yoga class (Trauma Informed Yoga).

My students are from all age groups and abilities. I love seeing my yogis progress and benefit from their practise.

Natural and holistic approach

Homeopathy has been a natural progression in my own personal search for a more natural and holistic approach to my mental, physical and emotional health. As a mother of two, my health and that of my family has conciderably improved holistically through our use of homeopathic philosphy.

As a busy mother and yoga practitioner my regular yoga practise has been vital to my good health.

I am also able to offer my clients Magnetic Analysis as part of their consultation, useful for measuring heavy metals, intolerances and as a marker at the start of a consultation.

Outdoor Yoga

In fine weather we benefit from grounding by walking barefoot on the lawn, we take our mats and enjoy Outdoor Yoga.  I get such a kick out of seeing my yogis benefit from their Yoga practice.  I teach guided Ashtanga primary series classes and offer private yoga tuition.   My Ashtanga Yoga classes are for all age groups and abilities.

I also facilitate a weekly Restorative Yoga class for all abilities, a great starting point if you are dipping your toe or recovering from injury, be that mental or physical.
