About Mia and Sunbeam Yoga and Homeopathy

Yoga teacher in Dorset

I’m a registered Ashtanga yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance UK. Having trained with Brian Cooper PHD. I’ve also completed a 40hr course on Trauma Informed Yoga as well as Yoga for Dyslexia and kids yoga teacher training.

In 2013 I established Sunbeam Yoga. I facilitate weekly guided half primary series Ashtanga yoga and Restorative Yoga (Trauma Informed Yoga).

My students are from all age groups and abilities. I love seeing the progress and benefit from regular practise.

Natural and holistic approach

Homeopathy has been a natural progression in my own personal search for a more natural and holistic approach to my mental, physical and emotional health. As a mother of two, my health and that of my family has conciderably improved holistically through our use of homeopathic philosphy.

As a busy mother and yoga practitioner my regular yoga practise has been vital to my good health.

I am also able to offer my clients Magnetic Analysis as part of their consultation, useful for measuring heavy metals, intolerances and as a marker at the start of a consultation.

Outdoor Yoga  Goes Indoors

for Autumn and Winter

In fine weather we benefit from grounding by walking barefoot on the lawn, we take our mats and enjoy Outdoor Yoga.  Being Autumn we have moved inside to feel the warmth and safety of being indoors as we continue our practise through the shorter days.

If you are dipping your toe into yoga or recovering from injury, be that mental or physical consider Restorative Yoga class as it’s for all abilities, a great starting point.
