Hi I’m Mia, founder of Sunbeam Yoga and Homeopathy based in beautiful South Dorset

I’m a final year licentiate student of Homeopathy at The College of Practical Homeopathy in London.

I’ve trained in Ashtanga Yoga, Yoga for Dyslexia and Trauma Informed Yoga and I help people enrich their lives and bring calm to their minds through Yoga and Homeopathic Medicine.

About Mia and Sunbeam Yoga + Homeopathy

Yoga teacher in Dorset

I’m a registered Ashtanga yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance UK. Having trained with Brian Cooper PHD. I’ve also completed a 40hr course on Trauma Informed Yoga as well as Yoga for Dyslexia and kids yoga teacher training.

In 2013 I established Sunbeam Yoga. I facilitate weekly guided half primary series Ashtanga yoga and Restorative Yoga (Trauma Informed Yoga).

My students are from all age groups and abilities. I love seeing the progress and benefit from regular practise.

Natural and holistic approach

Homeopathy has been a natural progression in my own personal search for a more natural and holistic approach to my mental, physical and emotional health. As a mother of two, my health and that of my family has conciderably improved holistically through our use of homeopathic philosphy.

As a busy mother and yoga practitioner my regular yoga practise has been vital to my good health.

I am also able to offer my clients Magnetic Analysis as part of their consultation, useful for measuring heavy metals, intolerances and as a marker at the start of a consultation.

Outdoor Yoga

In fine weather we benefit from grounding by walking barefoot on the lawn, we take our mats and enjoy OUTDOOR YOGA 🌸🌻🌿

Join us at The Priory Hotel twice a week, on Fridays and Saturdays, for Restorative Yoga, for all abilities. Residents and non residents of the hotel are welcome.

📍 Meet on the croquet lawn. Bring a blanket, wear layers as we will warm up. Sit mindfully amongst the colorful flowers and listen to the chirruping birds.

We have sun and shade and we’re in a sunken garden so we are also protected from the wind. On the occasion that it is not dry, we can go inside. 🌸

In our heavenly garden of yoga, surrounded by 365 degrees of birdsong, the perfect way to start your weekend. 🌿🐝

If you are dipping your toe into yoga or recovering from injury, be that mental or physical consider a regular Restorative Yoga class as it’s a great starting point and brings calm to the nervous sytem. 🌸🐝🌳
